Several months ago I attended The TOBYMAC’S Hits Deep Tour with a friend. The concert was amazing! Very spiritual, moving, and uplifting. Some deep messages made a mark on my heart that night. I recognize how blessed I have been over the course of the last 3 years and that the path that has been paved for me is definitely by design. That night I chose to sponsor a little girl from Guatemala named Marta. Today I’m introducing you to her! It is through Basal Layer & Co. that we’re able to give back, because of the wonderful clients that I have and the early success of this business, we are able to help Marta. I’m very grateful for this partnership and love the opportunity to help.

Food For the Hungary provides life-changing resources such as clean water, medical aid, food, equal educational opportunities to girls and boys, vocational training and empowerment in the midst of unimaginable hardships. This organization responds to their needs with transformative solutions, which are both sustainable and implemented at the hands of the communities themselves. They’re  proud of the communities they enter, but more than that, they’re proud of the ones they exit. These are the communities where extreme poverty no longer has a seat at the table. They’re self-sustainable and living out God’s purpose for their lives. They can celebrate with them and then they intentionally seek out the next community suffering under the heavy weight of poverty. The primary goal is to leave communities strong and sustainable within 15 years or less.

A sponsorship provides training to help families grow food and raise animals, to improve health and nutrition and even get access to clean water! As a result, Marta will have access to food and the education she needs!

This isn’t a recruitment, just a thank you from Basal Layer & Co. I wanted to let you know you’re part of a bigger picture through us and sometimes knowing that will affect you in a special way!
